Клинтонов обвиняют за неявку на допрос
The House Oversight and Accountability Committee of the United States House of Representatives has voted to hold Bill and Hillary Clinton in contempt for failing to appear for questioning after being issued subpoenas as part of the investigation into the case of American financier Jeffrey Epstein.
This is reported by Axios. The commission also rejected a Democratic amendment during the vote that would have held Attorney General Pam Bondi accountable for the delay in publishing materials on the Epstein case.
Before the bill can be sent to the Department of Justice for further investigation and possible criminal proceedings, it must be approved by the full House of Representatives. Earlier it became known that the couple, former US President Bill Clinton and former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, refused to testify in the Jeffrey Epstein case.
In an open letter, the couple stated that the demand for their testimony in court was politically motivated harassment and "legally unenforceable".
