Apple лидирует на рынке смартфонов Европы
According to Counterpoint Research (CR), Apple was the leader in the European smartphone market in 2025.
The market grew by 2 percent in the fourth quarter of 2025 year-on-year, despite the crisis. The main reasons for the growth were the high shipments of Apple, Samsung, and Honor.
Apple reclaimed the market lead, finishing the quarter with a 33 percent share, up from 31 percent at the end of 2024. Samsung came in second with a 29 percent share, up from 28 percent the previous year.
Xiaomi was in third place, with its share dropping from 18 percent to 16 percent. Honor and Realme followed with 4 and 3 percent shares respectively.
"Despite the ongoing macroeconomic difficulties in Europe, 2025 was good for smartphone shipments, and the year ended with a relatively strong result," said CR deputy director Jan Stryjak. Analysts predicted difficult times for the smartphone market and a downturn due to a shortage of RAM, despite temporary successes.
In early February, Counterpoint Research analysts stated that Apple and Samsung had broken the billion-smartphone sales mark. They also noted that every fourth smartphone in the world was an iPhone.
